Professional, Engineering - Avionics Systems

Avionics Systems Engineer responsible for the end-to-end development, testing, certification, production, and in-service support of avionics systems across Bombardier aircraft programs. Responsibilities include defining and managing system and subsystem requirements for safety and certification, coordinating with suppliers and other disciplines to ensure smooth aircraft integration, enabling timely integration of avionics subsystems (AFCS, communications, navigation, displays, data recording, cabin connectivity), conducting or witnessing development and certification tests, reviewing test results, performing ARP4754 system verifications, managing supplier deliverables, liaising with certifying authorities, supporting final assembly and in-service issue resolution, and contributing to tools and processes. Will participate in software customization for crew alerting logic and IMA configurations, with a hybrid work schedule and travel as needed. The role supports junior through senior levels in Avionics Systems Engineering, and emphasizes collaboration, communication, and adherence to industry standards (DO-178, DO-160, DO-254, ARP4754). This is a regular, day-shift, engineering professional role based in the Montreal, Canada area with hybrid work arrangements.
