Job Summary
Develop plans, studies, and detailed designs for industrial mechanical systems and building systems, including process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment layouts, and HVAC/plumbing systems. Support construction administration by interpreting plans, observing operations, and ensuring deliverables meet specifications. Partner with clients and internal teams to define scope, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain quality standards across fueling facilities, loading/unloading systems, maintenance facilities, tank farms, and pump houses. Requires a PE license in Washington, 8+ years of experience, and a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Washington
- 8+ years of experience designing building or industrial processing mechanical systems
- Proven experience designing mechanical system - including piping, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial processes
- Solid understanding of construction documents, specifications, and industry standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to manage project scope, budgets, and schedules effectively
