Job Summary
Lead the design, analysis, and delivery of complex structural and maritime infrastructure projects (bridges, ports) in Sydney, including preliminary and detailed design, construction documentation, and regulatory reporting. Develop structural solutions for port and maritime facilities; prepare engineering reports, calculations, and specifications for stakeholders and regulators; collaborate with architects, project managers, and other disciplines to integrate structural requirements; manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while maintaining quality and safety; perform site inspections; ensure designs comply with Australian Standards and building codes; require 5+ years of experience in structural engineering with expertise in bridge design and/or port infrastructure; proficiency with AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, and hydraulic modeling; knowledge of hydraulic modeling and geotechnical analysis as it relates to design; professional license or eligibility for registration with Engineers Australia preferred; flexible work arrangements including hybrid options.
