Job Summary
Electrical Engineer (R&I) role in Brisbane focusing on HV/LV distribution, instrumentation, controls and communications for mining/industrial projects. Responsibilities include design and specification of power/electrical systems, developing engineering documentation (drawings, datasheets, scopes of works, material requisitions), and client liaison with opportunities for project management and mentorship within a global consultancy. Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience; CPEng and/or RPEQ or progress towards those credentials is noted. Flexible work options include hybrid arrangements, with a mix of office and remote work across Brisbane.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 years' experience designing industrial and mining power, electrical, instrument and control systems
- Experience in HV/LV distribution, controls and communications and safety systems in industrial/mining spaces
- Experience in producing engineering documentation such as technical drawings, specifications, datasheets, scope of works and material requisitions
- Current knowledge of relevant industry standards and their application in compliant designs
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
- CPEng and/or RPEQ (or working towards obtaining)
