Job Summary
Oversee the department's professional education delivery program in Vietnam by coordinating training sessions, workshops, and materials for educators and academics on animal sentience and welfare. Develop and deliver educational activities for school-aged children and university students to raise awareness of elephant sentience and conservation, while organizing World Elephant Day events and supporting public communication campaigns. Monitor, collect data on, and evaluate the outcomes and impact of training programs, providing regular reports on progress and impact to the Department Director. This role involves working within an international team in Ha Noi on a one-year contract with a two-month probationary period. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in educational delivery in schools and strong proficiency in Vietnamese and English.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivering animal welfare education programmes in schools
- Experience in evaluating the outcome and impact of project delivery
- Experience collaborating with diverse individuals and organisations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and support multiple teams
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office and Google Office
- Experience in managing volunteers
- Experience in managing databases
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support projects
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
- Technical expertise in the delivery of education programs and training
- Strong, practical knowledge of animal sentience & welfare concepts
- At least 3 years of experience in educational delivery in schools
- Proven experience in delivering educational resources to meet program objectives
- Experience working within an international team
- At least a university bachelor's degree in Education/English/Marketing or a related field
- Native Vietnamese and strong English (written and spoken)
