Job Summary
Designs and implements curriculum and educational programs to advance oncology nursing staff skills; serves as a nurse planner for ANCC Accredited Provider Unit; coordinates education, training, and competency assessment within the clinical coverage area; collaborates with Nursing leadership to ensure adherence to evidence-based guidelines, regulatory standards, and orientation programs; supports local and national professional activities to promote growth and development of staff; emphasizes learning needs assessment, simulation-based education, and competency evaluation to improve patient care outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
- Current RN license in Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire as job requires
- 3 years of clinical nursing experience and 3 years of oncology experience
- Professional certification required (NPD-BC, Oncology-specific, or other relevant certification) within 3 years of hire
