Job Summary
The Professional Development Specialist is responsible for providing engaging and adult learner-focused professional development and training across the global organization. This role involves developing, conducting, and evaluating training content, collaborating with leaders to assess talent growth, and selecting effective training methods. Key responsibilities include designing interactive content for diverse adult learners, facilitating leadership development initiatives, and evaluating training effectiveness. The position requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, along with excellent communication and presentation skills. The role demands sensitivity to diverse staff needs and a commitment to equity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of human resources or Professional Development/training experience
- Strong knowledge of organizational development theory and practice
- Demonstrated ability to develop management, supervisory and participant support
- Ability to attend frequent evening and weekend meetings and to travel
