Job Summary
Manage end-to-end student recruitment and associate recruitment processes for law students, clerks, and early-career lawyers; oversee onboarding, performance management, mentoring, and career development; collaborate with the Director of Legal Talent and Law Schools to coordinate 2L recruitment, lateral recruitment, and program policy development; lead student programs including articling and summer programs, and manage related events and evaluations; drive engagement of the professional community and ensure control over recruitment workflows, training, and program delivery; require a minimum of three years of legal experience, leadership and strong communication skills, and proficiency with recruitment technology; hybrid work arrangement in Toronto, Ontario with in-office presence required at least three days per week; salary range $110,000-$140,000.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of experience working as a lawyer
- Leadership capability, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated interest in recruitment and development of people
- Strong strategic planning and project management skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize
- Skilled at networking and able to build credibility and confidence at all levels
- Experience with recruitment technology and social media
- Demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct
