Job Summary
Professional Billing Payment Specialist II, EDI Specialist focused on electronic remittance processing (835/EFT) and cash management workflows within physician billing. Independently handles remittance reconciliation, provider-level adjustments (PLBs), and supports claims clearinghouse activities. Performs routine to moderately complex exception resolution, uses Epic automated/manual workflows, and serves as a resource for peers. Requires CPB within 1 year, and at least 3 years in physician billing payment processing. Remote role eligible for work from AR, KS, MO, OK, or TX; shift Monday–Friday 8a-5p with some flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: At least 3 years of physician billing payment processing experience
- Certification/License/Registration: CPB required to be obtained within 1 year
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Applied expertise in professional billing remittance and cash management workflows
