Job Summary
Professional Billing Manager responsible for the timely, accurate processing of professional billing and accounts receivable within the Epic Revenue Cycle system. Owns professional billing functions (claims filing and follow-up, payment processing/posting, denials, self-pay billing, and customer service), drives efficiency through standardization and automation, and monitors dashboards and KPIs. Develops and implements revenue cycle policies and procedures, supports new Ambulatory Division business lines, and collaborates with division leaders to improve performance. Leads the Professional Billing team, manages budgeting and scheduling, ensures compliance with billing rules and regulations, and partners with Coding, Compliance, and Finance to optimize operations and achieve organizational goals. Requires strong leadership, analytical, project-management, and change-management skills, with a focus on process improvement, interoperability with practice management systems, and high-integrity teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Epic billing experience which includes at least 3 years of general leadership experience
