Job Summary
The Medical Coding Specialist is responsible for accurate data abstraction and coding using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. Requires a coding credential and minimum 2 years coding experience. Full-time role with an excellent benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must possess an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential
- Minimum 2 years’ coding experience required; specialty experience may be preferred as per specific client needs
- General Surgery coding (office visits and procedures/surgeries)
- Hospitalists and Retail Clinics (EM leveling, bedside procedures, in office procedures)
