Job Summary
Follows adopted policies and procedures in accordance with School Board priorities and conducts oneself in the best interest of students to support the District's Mission Statement. Performs other duties as assigned. All finalists for employment may be required to undergo a background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Applicants must pass a mandatory Post Offer Employment Test to determine capability for physically demanding functions.
Required Qualifications
- Pass a mandatory Post Offer Employment Test
- Complete forms required by federal and state agencies and the School Board
- Complete forms related to the employee benefits package
- Pass a drug test pursuant to School Board Policy 3.96 or 3.961
- Receive a medical clearance from professionals selected by the School Board (if applicable to the employment category)
- Pass a background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Meet the Word per Minute (WPM) requirement for the given position (for Non-Instructional Applicants applying for some clerical positions)
- Not use tobacco or tobacco products (hiring preference applies)
- Provide proof of eligibility for Veteran's Preference (if claiming)
