Job Summary
Operate production and packaging equipment safely to assemble, inspect, and package pet treats. Weigh ingredients, perform visual quality inspections, and label finished goods for shipment while maintaining a clean work area per Good Manufacturing Practices. Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures, reporting equipment issues or defects to supervisors. Assist with inventory, material handling, and other production tasks to meet daily goals. Work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility producing pet treats, requiring extended standing and lifting up to 50 pounds. Personal protective equipment is required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and teamwork
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not always required
- Forklift experience is a plus for some departments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is beneficial but not required
