Production Worker - Rough Electrician

Job Summary
Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work at a fast-moving and consistent manner. Perform all manual labor in the assigned area, keeping the workspace neat and clean. Read blueprints and orders, use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools, and maintain the ability to read a tape measure. Communicate effectively with coworkers while adhering to safety procedures and the Champion Operating Principles. This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional heavier loads. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional overtime or scheduling changes based on production needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least six months of related experience/training
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to arrive on time, per scheduled shift - daily
- Ability to work quickly and methodically
- Understanding and ability to follow safety procedures
- Good teamwork skills
- Must live by the Champion Operating Principles
- One-year certificate from college or technical school
- 6-12 months related experience and/or training
- Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing
