Job Summary
Manufacturing Production Worker needed to efficiently manufacture high quality products in a team environment. Responsible for interpreting drawing specifications, performing all set-up functions, maintaining continuous quality control, and adhering to housekeeping and safety standards. In addition to production duties, involvement in new product design and improvements may occur. Key skills include reading and interpreting drawings, mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, producing accurate work to meet standard times, maintaining production paperwork/time cards, and contributing to a positive team atmosphere and meeting production schedules. The role encompasses stages such as saw, punch, panel fabrication/assembly, glazing, shrinking, packaging, and other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret drawing specifications
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to perform manual work for long hours
- Previous manufacturing experience (desirable)
- Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management
