Production Worker/Press Operator

Operate mechanical presses and set up press equipment following safety procedures and standard work instructions. Inspect parts during production with measurement tools to ensure conformance to quality standards. Complete production and quality documentation per plant and union requirements. Participate in job rotations based on seniority and training; communicate maintenance or supervision to report issues; follow PPE and lockout/tagout protocols; maintain a clean work area; participate in required training/certifications as outlined by the CBA or management; overtime/alternate shifts may be required. Requires reading and interpreting work instructions and safety protocols; physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; production facility with rotating shifts and exposure to industrial environment.
