Production Worker / Packaging Operator

Job Summary
Responsibilities include operating bagging and baler machinery, stacking bags on pallets, palletizing and pallet tagging for quality control, assisting other production areas, moving and wrapping completed products, and supporting pellet mills as directed by Shift Leads. Maintain a clean workstation, adhere to safety guidelines, and communicate moisture or material issues to the Shift Lead. Duties involve operating bagging/baler/shrink-wrapping machines, forklifts, pallet jack, and bag sealer; accumulate ton-based quality samples, and ensure correct warehouse placement. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for ~7 hours per day; shift rotation includes 6a–6p and 6p–6a with rotating days. Pre-employment background check and drug screen required. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Prior forklift and production line experience preferred
- Good eye, hand, and foot coordination
- Will need to pass the forklift training
- Requires the ability to read and interpret scales
- Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Requires the ability to do simple math calculations
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
