Job Summary
Operate bagging, baler, shrink wrapping, and forklift machinery while maintaining established safety guidelines. Assist Shift Leads to start and stop pellet mills, move and wrap completed products, and stack bales on pallets. Complete accurate production reports for both bagging and baler operations, including filling sample cups for quality control and tagging pallets with specific data. Maintain a clean workstation and communicate any moisture or material problems immediately. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for seven hours daily.
Required Qualifications
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Will be lifting up to 50 lbs
- Standing for a minimum of 7 hours per day
- Will require good eye, hand, and foot coordination
- Will need to pass the company forklift training
- Required to read and interpret scales
- Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Requires the ability to do simple math calculations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior forklift and production line experience
