Job Summary
Production Worker (Dryer) rotates through departments performing dumper, tray-line duties, smoothing fruit on trays, stacking full trays of fruit, pushing carts, scraping dried fruit to wash lines, filling trays and totes, handling juice and syrup, and maintaining a clean production area. Requires ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, good communication and teamwork, lifting up to 50 lbs, and endurance in a hot, loud manufacturing environment with occasional overtime. On-site at Plant 1 in Dallas, Oregon; full-time, hourly non-exempt with shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform tasks properly and promptly with little supervision
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player attitude with attention to detail
- Work well with others
- Be self-motivated
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Be able to be on your feet for 6 to 8 hours per day
- Be able to bend, twist and reach
