Job Summary
Conduct materials, assembly, paint, and welding tasks while maintaining a neat work area and complying with safety training. Safely position and secure work-pieces using a hoist and operate a forklift. Examine components for defects, assemble parts according to production manuals, and cross-train across multiple areas. Practice continuous improvement and interact with team members while working independently. Requires a background in metal fabrication, proficiency with hand and power tools, and strong mechanical aptitude. Day shift Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- A background in metal fabrication and manufacturing
- Ability to read and assemble parts according to production manuals and engineering schematics
- Proficient in the use of a variety of hand tools and hand-held power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Smart and exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of various production applications
- Integrity that is above reproach
- Ability to cross train and perform multiple areas
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Ability to safely position and secure work-piece using a hoist
- Ability to examine work-piece for defects and ensure conformance with specifications
- Ability to interact well with other team members and work independently
- Ability to practice and support continuous improvement within the company
- Must be available for Day Shift: Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
