Job Summary
Load and unload materials, parts, or products manually or using mechanized equipment. Transfer finished products and raw materials throughout the plant and warehouse using hand trucks or appropriate means. Deliver production items to designated work areas, move processed units to storage, and stack items according to established guidelines. Pack products into containers with proper labeling and clean work areas using brooms and shovels to maintain a safe environment. Assist other production workers and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. This role requires physical stamina, basic warehouse operation knowledge, and adherence to safety protocols, GMPs, and company policies. The position offers a weekday shift from 6am to 2:30pm with $16.00 hourly pay and potential overtime at this Texas distillery.
Required Qualifications
- Physical stamina and ability to engage in tasks requiring strength and endurance
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and familiarity with manual and mechanized equipment
- Good coordination and manual dexterity to handle materials safely
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols, GMPs (good manufacturing practices), PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company P&P (policies and procedures)
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands
- Must be flexible enough to work 8-12 hours per day depending on volumes
- Production floor is non-climate controlled
