Job Summary

Operate production equipment safely and efficiently on an assigned line, performing setup, startup, and shutdown procedures while monitoring performance and making approved adjustments. Execute product changeovers, cleaning, and basic operator-level maintenance such as clearing jams, and escalate mechanical issues with clear fault descriptions. Conduct in-process quality checks for weight, fill, seal, and visual inspection, accurately record results, and segregate non-conforming product. Maintain a clean work area, follow all safety requirements including PPE and lockout/tagout, and assist in training newer associates. Anticipate material needs, communicate shortages proactively, and participate in shift handovers to pass equipment and quality information to the incoming operator. This three-month contract engagement in Bellevue, Washington, offers steady hands-on work within an established operation with clear standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior production or manufacturing experience
  • Experience consistent with an experienced operator who can run equipment with limited supervision
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
  • Ability to complete production and quality documentation accurately
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality across the assigned shift
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion
  • Ability to lift up to fifty pounds
  • Comfort in a production environment with noise, temperature variation, and moving equipment
  • Onsite availability for the assigned shift including overtime or weekends as scheduled
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the engagement

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in food, beverage, or other regulated production
  • Familiarity with GMPs
  • Familiarity with sanitation requirements
  • Familiarity with allergen control practices
  • Forklift or pallet jack certification
  • Experience with high-speed packaging equipment
  • Exposure to lean or 5S practices
  • Prior experience training or leading other operators
  • Bilingual English and Spanish capability
  • Experience operating multiple equipment types
  • Experience working across more than one production line
  • Familiarity with production reporting or ERP systems
  • Prior participation in continuous improvement activity
  • Strong safety record with no lost-time incidents
