Job Summary
Work on the production line to build manufactured housing under general supervision, performing all assigned manual labor while maintaining a neat and clean area. Read blueprints and orders, use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools, and communicate effectively with coworkers. Ensure safety procedures are followed and live the Champion Operating Principles. This role requires standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, with occasional lifts over 100 pounds. Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing is desired. Must pass a 7-panel drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
- Must understand safety procedures
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired
