Job Summary
Work on the production line to build manufactured housing under general supervision, performing all assigned manual labor while maintaining a neat and clean area. Read blueprints and orders, use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools, and communicate effectively with coworkers. Ensure all tasks are completed quickly, methodically, and at a fast moving pace while strictly adhering to safety procedures and Champion Operating Principles.
Required Qualifications
- Less than high school education
- up to one month related experience
- related training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
- Must understand safety procedures
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must be able to adjust focus
