Job Summary
Production Worker/Forklift Operator in a temp-to-hire role in a recycling environment. Responsibilities include operating a sit-down forklift and baler, maintaining and updating inventory records, moving inventory to proper locations, and following safety rules. Must become certified on sit-down forklift, be able to work in a team, meet deadlines, and adapt to process changes. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, starting pay $16/hour. Required Qualifications
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift or similar powered industrial trucks or heavy machinery
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work at a pace required to meet deadlines
- Ability to adapt to changes or modifications in the way work is done
- Ability to work safely and effectively as a member of a team
- Must be conscientious and pay attention to detail
- Availability to work required shifts and hours
- Steel-toed boots are required
