Job Summary
Help Molders with sand flasks, shake out finished molds, remove castings, mix sand using the sand cutter, and pour hot aluminum into sand molds. Sweep and clean work areas, operate bridge cranes or forklifts to move, load, and unload materials, and transport parts by forklift, pallet jack, or crane. Work supportively with team members to meet quotas, observe safety guidelines, and report concerns. Use basic hand tools, read tape measures, and maintain good housekeeping. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and bend in a fast-paced environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and loud noise. High school diploma or GED preferred; forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack operation may be required based on department.

- Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
- Must work well in team environment
- Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Continuously stand; walk; bend/stoop, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk; and hear
- Occasionally climb, balance, kneel, reach with hands and arms at waist level and below the waist, and work in limited space
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Understands SQDE Metrics
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience working in a Foundry/Manufacturing Environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
