Job Summary
Mix and pour concrete, operate machinery like mixers and conveyors, and clean and maintain equipment and work areas. Set up forms in the manufacturing process, load and unload materials, and handle heavy construction materials up to 50 pounds frequently. Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate protective gear, and adhere to quality control standards. Work outdoors or in open air environments, reading work orders and using hand and power tools. Forklift experience is preferred. Join Rinker Materials' COMO, MS plant, one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe and infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to step up 20 inches
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred – Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift
