Job Summary
Use nail guns, saws, and tape measures to build prefab house frames by picking timber and hardware orders. Operate machinery to construct wall frames and perform quality checks on finished products. Strap jobs for site delivery, count stock, and select timbers for use. Full training is provided with no experience necessary. Day Shift runs Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 3:00pm (Friday until 12:30pm); Afternoon Shift runs Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 12:00am (Friday 1:00pm to 7:00pm). Uniform, tools, and PPE are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Interest in working with timber
- Enjoy hands on work
- Must be available for Day Shift (Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 3:00pm and Friday 6:30am to 12:30pm)
- Must be available for Afternoon Shift (Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 12:00am and Friday 1:00pm to 7:00pm)
- Must be able to use various tools including nail guns, saws, tape measures, hammers etc.
- Must be able to operate a range of different machinery to build prefab house frames
- Must be able to pick timber and hardware orders
- Must be able to perform quality checks on finished products
- Must be able to strap jobs to be delivered to site
- Must be able to count stock and select timbers for use
- Must undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
