Job Summary
Operate ovens, monitor cook cycles, and load/unload racks while verifying product specifications against recipes and manufacturing orders. Perform sanitation duties, complete HACCP documentation, and inspect equipment to ensure compliance with food safety protocols. Deliver instruction to new team members using SOPs, coordinate with peers, and manage production activities when supervisors are absent. This role requires lifting up to 70 pounds and working in hot or cold environments throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work in hot/cold environments and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food production or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with BRC standards and manufacturing operational systems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience delivering training and guiding team performance
- Ability to contribute to improvements in yield, labor efficiency, and product quality
