Job Summary
Operate slitter efficiently and productively against set goals. Load and unload rolls on slitter. Interpret written information (orders, SOPs, laminate/ticket docs). Palletize finished goods, bag finished rolls, and perform quality checks on slit material. Check print quality/defects, monitor roll/web tension and integrity. Enter accurate data into computer and production forms, print and attach labels, maintain a safe/clean work area, and identify/cut defects while splicing good material. Complete tasks within time to meet daily press goals and adhere to SQF/GMP guidelines as documented in SOPs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance of a hoist; up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and use hands
- Computer operation skill: Moderate
- Read a tape measure to 1/16"
