Job Summary
Operate production equipment using standard operating procedures while catching, bundling, and stacking partitions. Feed hoppers properly, identify defective partitions, and separate them from quality product. Aiding in various manufacturing areas as directed, you will strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Safety is the top priority; work safely, follow all regulations, and maintain a clean work area. You must work well with others, follow verbal instructions, and be ready for overtime or Saturdays. Training occurs on the 1st shift for approximately one month before moving to the 2nd shift. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you contribute to Sonoco's global packaging solutions and sustainability initiatives.
