Job Summary

Execute kitting processes, maintain inventory counts of hardware and lumber, and transport products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes. Follow shop orders and blueprints while working supportively with departments to meet quotas. Observe safety guidelines, report concerns, and maintain clean work areas in assigned spaces. Continuously lift up to 50 pounds and work in environments with moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and loud noise. Complete required training in JSA, forklift operations, and rigging safety.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot problems and report issues
  • Must be able to maintain inventory counts of nuts, bolts, screws, metal, lumber, etc.
  • Must be able to perform the kitting process
  • Must be able to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack (based on department)

Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understands SQDE Metrics, LDMS, Issue boards, 5S
