Job Summary
Welding, fabrication, assembly, and inspection in a production-focused environment. Perform MIG, TIG, wire-feed, spot welding, and oxy-acetylene welding; weld structural components such as frames and tanks to meet blueprints and quality specs; clean, finish, inspect, and rework welds as needed. Lay out, fit, and assemble components using drawings and fabrication instructions; operate and maintain welding equipment; support pressure testing and verification; maintain records and uphold safety and quality standards; collaborate with team and participate in cross-training to support multiple production areas.
Required Qualifications
- Previous welding experience preferred
- Experience operating welding equipment and fabrication tools
- Ability to read basic drawings and follow written or verbal instructions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- MIG Welding Certification preferred
- TIG Welding Certification is a plus
- Vocational welding training or related technical education is beneficial
