Production Underwriter/Broker

Role involves soliciting, underwriting, marketing, and brokering risk for excess & surplus lines for the independent Property and Casualty Retail Agent, acting as a representative for contract or brokerage carriers. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with retail agents, underwriting and brokering risks, market submissions, negotiating terms and pricing, managing the full lifecycle of accounts (new business, renewals, endorsements, servicing), ensuring timely processing and policy issuance, maintaining responsiveness with agents, carriers, and internal stakeholders, monitoring market trends, and ensuring compliance with underwriting standards and regulatory requirements. Requires 3 years of relevant experience, P&C license, and preferably E&S license; strong communication and sales orientation, ability to work in a collaborative team, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
