Production Test Technician

Job Summary
Perform inspection, testing, and verification of manufactured optical and multi-layer products throughout various stages of the manufacturing process. Load optics into test equipment to evaluate product performance and review results to determine acceptance or rejection. Enter and maintain accurate records of assemblies and test results in company systems to ensure proper traceability. Support preparation of standard products including cutting, cleaning, and packaging into finished goods with final inspections and labeling. Coordinate with Technicians, Engineers, and Scientists to validate outcomes and communicate test results to Production, Engineering, and Quality teams. Adhere to safety procedures, contamination control practices, and 5S standards while complying with ISO requirements and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with measurement or test equipment in a quality or manufacturing environment
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Microsoft Office, or similar systems)
- Ability to handle precision and fragile components with care
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
- Must be able to prove they can legally work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical discipline (mechanical, electrical, or related field), or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in a quality control or inspection role
- Familiarity with optical components, precision assemblies, or similar products
