Production Test Engineer

Job Summary
Production Test Engineer responsible for test development, troubleshooting, and validating low and medium voltage electrical equipment including switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, breakers, and MCCs; perform insulation resistance testing and functional testing; modify technical documents such as the SOO and User Manuals; collaborate with Test Technicians and Design Engineers to diagnose and resolve problems; create and perform ITPs and FATs; maintain repair/calibration databases and test records; prepare detailed service and failure records; ensure project deadlines are met; train others and oversee teams in various settings; strong emphasis on interpreting electrical schematics and test procedures, and using tools like Multi Meter, Relay Test Set, and Corona test Set; proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; committed to safety and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in testing, troubleshooting & failure analysis of equipment
- Proven experience with low voltage equipment
- Validating/correcting existing technical documents including test procedures
- Experience with Multi Meter, Relay Test Set, Corona test Set
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to train personnel, oversee teams and perform as part of a team
