Job Summary
Production Technician responsible for maintaining ATE and computer hardware, performing routine and emergency maintenance, and developing/upgrading software and test methods for assigned product lines. Will revise test instructions, collaborate with Engineering, Service Techs, and Quality Engineers to troubleshoot field failures, develop test code and equipment for new products, implement ATE solutions, and improve testing processes to reduce root causes, including testing/programming computer control boards and performing other manufacturing duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain ATE and computer hardware
- conduct routine and emergency maintenance
- develop, maintain, and install software upgrades on assigned product lines
- maintain Final Test work instructions
- revise test code/work instructions
- interface with ES&S, Engineering, Service Techs
- develop/revise test code and equipment for new products
- assist Quality Engineers in developing test methods
- develop ATE solutions and improve testing processes
- eliminate root causes of product failures by auditing testing/manufacturing processes
- test/program computer control boards
- may perform other manufacturing duties as assigned
