Job Summary
Operate and control chemical processes at the Chicago Oleo Plant, including managing supply tanks, pumps, lines, valves, product tanks, and related equipment to ensure safe, compliant operation. Maintain safe, clean work areas and perform mandatory safety training and weekly safety audits. Complete required documentation, sample and label raw materials/products, adapt to automated control systems, manage inventory in all tanks, and ensure product integrity per SOPs. Contribute to process improvements, communicate status via logs and reports, assist with maintenance preparations using LOTO and safe work practices, and perform general warehouse duties (palletizing, labeling, loading/unloading) as needed. Proactively participate in training of new personnel and uphold cGMP/ISO and food safety requirements across the plant operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of six (6) months experience in an industrial facility
- Forklift Experience preferred
