Job Summary
Interpret and implement assembly and testing activities for electrical control panels based on work orders, schematics, and one-line diagrams. Perform comprehensive testing including functional, I/O, load, and high-power testing on transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and PLC systems while strictly adhering to safety protocols and lockout-tagout procedures. Conduct troubleshooting during testing phases using wiring diagrams to identify defects and implement corrective actions. Prepare accurate testing reports and documentation to ensure traceability and compliance. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to analyze process inefficiencies and maintain disciplined 5S practices throughout operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or ITI certification in a relevant technical discipline
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Proficiency in English, in reading and writing technical instructions, procedures, and documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical assembly and panel wiring skills
- Read and interpret schematics and one-line diagrams
- Knowledge of electrical components (breakers, relays, PLCs, and transformers)
- Proficiency in using assembly tools (torque, pneumatic, electric tools)
