Job Summary
Assist with mechanical and electrical assembly of production products, including filtration and monitoring systems. Perform product testing, calibration, inspections, and quality control checks to ensure finished products meet required specifications. Read engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials while operating hand tools, power tools, and production machinery. Maintain accurate production logs, quality control records, and documentation. Identify and report production issues, equipment concerns, or safety hazards to management. Support routine maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and finishing of assemblies. Collaborate with production leadership and engineering to improve processes and meet deadlines. Assist with training new employees on production processes and safety procedures. Follow all safety policies to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role supports mission-critical infrastructure and data center industry operations in a Northern Virginia manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Good driving record
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the Ashburn area
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school, trade school, or associate degree
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, mechanical, assembly, maintenance, or related hands-on work environment
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, mechanical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks or projects at the same time
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency
- Team-focused, dependable, and goal-oriented
