Job Summary
Production Technician to support the efficient running of the plant under the instruction of the Shift Team Leader, assisting with safe, efficient production, first-line maintenance, and preparation for maintenance tasks; responsible for shift handovers, maintaining operational records, participating in investigations and audits, and contributing to training and safety initiatives. Key skills include DeltaV control room operations, fault diagnosis, procedure adherence, risk assessments, permit-to-work, and maintaining logs; role involves potential call-out support and collaboration across the Production Department to meet safety and production standards.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 equivalent in engineering
- Experience contributing to continuous process /production/ operational environments
- Fault diagnosis and problem solving
- Experience of monitoring, inspecting & controlling plant parameters
- Experience in first line maintenance, plant routines and following procedures, systems & processes
- Knowledge of Control Room Operations (Delta V)
