Job Summary
Operate, monitor, and maintain water treatment processes at production sites, reservoirs, and pumping stations while managing water levels and flow. Control and check site operations, complete necessary administration for maintenance work, and issue permits where required. Monitor site security, liaise with contractors, and adhere to all safety legislation and standard operating procedures. Participate in a 1 in 5 standby rota to provide out-of-hours and weekend support for operational incidents. Working hours are 37 weeks per week (7:00am to 7:00pm, Monday to Friday), with a standby allowance and overtime rates. Salary ranges from £31,206 to £38,700 depending on experience, plus access to training and a company van.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in water treatment processes or a background in process operations
- Relevant Mechanical / Engineering qualifications or equivalent experience
- Physically fit for working in confined spaces
- A full, clean driver's licence
- Confident using IT systems
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Ability to pass background, identity, and employment referencing checks
- Experience in process operations
- Electrical / mechanical engineering background
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in water treatment processes would be useful but isn't essential
- Ideally, you'll have experience in process operations or an electrical / mechanical engineering background
