Production Technician - Permanent

Job Summary
Perform manufacturing activities in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, operating equipment to complete manual and semi-automated production tasks accurately. Execute product inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized production environment. Complete production documentation, batch records, and equipment logs with high accuracy, and identify or escalate production issues, deviations, or quality concerns promptly. Work collaboratively within the Greyside or Freeze-Drying teams, supporting cross-training and following all health, safety, and regulatory protocols. This role requires flexibility for rotating shifts, including weekends, and involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 15kg.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday and extra hours, short notice and every second Saturday on a rotating shift
- Ability to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday and some Saturday work required
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills and confidence completing documentation
- The ability to work on your feet for extended periods and complete some physical tasks (including lifting up to approximately 15kg)
- Flexibility to work on rotating shifts and weekend work as required
- Candidates already residing and eligible to work permanently in New Zealand
