Job Summary
Operate and control manufacturing equipment and heavy machinery per safety, environmental, and health procedures; monitor product quality and perform quality testing and paperwork (process logs, area operating logs, personnel records); maintain clean and safe work areas; participate in safety, quality, and training programs; coordinate with plant operation teams, maintenance, administrative staff, and outside contractors; must meet physical requirements (lift 50 lbs, climb ladders) and hold forklift certification; read and follow English operating manuals; 12-hour rotating shifts at the Neville Island Plant (Pittsburgh, PA) as part of a continuous-operation facility; prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- United States Citizenship or Permanent Residents status
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders
- Forklift certification
- Safety and quality conscious
