Production Technician (Monday-Thursday, 10:00 pm - 6:00 am)

Job Summary
Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery including CNC centers, mass finishing machines, and medical inspection systems. Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize production disruptions while actively participating in TPM activities such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using software and paper records, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with production teams and engineers to support production goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production or maintenance role
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with TPM principles
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to document maintenance activities in conformance with good manufacturing procedures
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instruction
- Ability to read, write and speak English with good command of the language
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to use simple math
- Basic computer skills including at minimum, be adept in use of MS Office, internet, and electronic mail
- Detail-oriented
- Proactive
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Manage time appropriately
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification or associate degree in a related field
- Experience in a TPM environment
