Job Summary
Produce packaged candies according to Standard Operating Procedures and quality standards while following specific instructions from the Production Manager. Assist in basic equipment care, including thorough cleaning and inspection, and support safe and efficient changeover of packaging lines. Ensure all necessary packaging materials and supplies are available, report equipment malfunctions or off-spec production promptly, and maintain cleanliness of the area, equipment, and supplies. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Food Safety Plan, and Food Quality Plan to produce high-quality product at every step. Work Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm in Greendale, IN, with 100% onsite requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- Ability to follow instructions, guidelines, and use experience and judgment to accomplish goals
- Capable of performing a variety of tasks autonomously and with proficiency
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, talk, hear, and use hands to handle or feel; frequently walk, reach, taste, or smell; occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance
- Ability to focus on moving, very close, and very far images and distinguish subtle color differences clearly
