Job Summary
Pre-test and test completed systems, assemble control panels and equipment to meet client specifications, and conduct routine shop and equipment maintenance. Read and understand electrical schematics while using hand and power tools as required. Follow training instructions from level three technicians, maintain a clean and safe work area, and wear proper PPE including steel-toed boots and hearing protection. Perform physical tasks involving lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping, and navigating loud manufacturing facilities. This role may require infrequent travel between DVM manufacturing facilities and client sites, including overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR relevant experience
- Minimum of 2 years in mechanical assembly/mechanical repair or associated field
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to follow instructions and stay alert to potential hazards on the shop floor
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities
- Must be able to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Comfortable with occasional repetitive motions
- Availability to travel, as needed, between DVM manufacturing facilities (Stone Mountain, North Wales & West Chester) and/or client sites
- Some travel will require overnight stays
Desired Qualifications
- A background in electrical/ control systems and PLC experience are a plus
- Preferred certifications (OSHA10, CPR)
