Job Summary
Inspect parts to ensure they are correct for fuel and industrial tanks, read engineering prints, and assemble components onto tanks. Operate roto-molding equipment, charge molds with proper powder weights, and change molds to accommodate production schedules. Measure materials using equipment, add inserts to molds, and inspect assembled tanks for quality issues. Identify, record, and report any scrapped product while maintaining accurate counts of good and scrap parts. Ensure standard procedures for safety and quality are followed and report violations to a supervisor. Full-time role in Sparta with continuous lifting of heavy molds and materials.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write
- Continuous sitting, walking, bending, crouching/stooping, lifting/lowering, climbing stairs, balance, kneeling, crawling, talking or hearing
- Continuous standing, reaching and pushing/pulling
- Continuous lifting or moving average weight materials (50 lbs up to 75+ lbs with assistance) in difficult work positions
- Continuous mental and visual attention to installation operation. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work in hot environment
- Ability to use vibrating tools
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Must be able to work full time on an ongoing basis
- Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
- Continuous lifting and handling of tanks weighing up to 150 pounds, with assistance
- Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift and pour 35 pounds of powder over head continuously
- Continuous lifting of heavy molds in 0 to 35 pound range
- Ability to work effectively as a team

- Ensure that standard procedures are followed for work instructions, safety, and quality, and report and violations to a supervisor
- Flexibility to perform other assigned duties as needed is required
- Ability to understand verbal and hands on instructions
