Job Summary
Operate glue machines and perform hand assembly of custom binders, then sew materials to create bound books. Execute quality control checks to ensure customer orders are complete and accurate. Work in a clean, temperature-controlled facility handling binders, slipcases, and boxes for government and commercial clients. Stand for extended periods up to four hours per shift and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Participate in an initial training program with opportunities for advancement in other production processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent hand eye coordination
- Ability to work with different measuring devices (e.g. rulers)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours per shift)
- Self-starter
- Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
- You have to be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
