Job Summary
Operate production equipment, including forklifts, managing start-up, changeovers, and shutdowns while performing preventative maintenance. Remove bottles from racks, visually inspect for foreign objects, conduct odor tests, and discard contaminated units. Relabel bottles with handle tags, sort empty and full bottles from delivery trucks, and maintain general plant cleanliness. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, lifting items up to 50 pounds. Requires strong French language skills, forklift experience, and adherence to safety protocols including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Production experience, preferably in a food and beverage environment
- Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency
- Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment
- Physically able to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Forklift experience (required in some locations)
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends (depending on location)
- Ability to inspect materials visually and by sense of smell
- PPE Required (safety shoes, hair nets, goggles, ear plugs)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions (depending on location) that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. The noise level may be loud at times
- Candidates must possess strong French language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service
- Proficiency in French is essential for understanding customer needs, resolving inquiries, and collaborating with team members
